ENDA (the acronym for the Employment Non-Discrimination Act) and the nomination of Chai Feldblum as head of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission could be the end of the First Amendment Free Exercise clause as we know it.

There can be little dispute among the intellectually honest that the pulpits of the American colonies helped flame the fight for liberty that reached its climax in the Revolutionary War. And the pulpits of America are at the heart of a current public controversy. Will our pulpits flicker out or light the flame to protect free speech?

A bill has been filed in Congress called the Respect for Marriage Act. An interesting title for sure, but is it accurate or a misnomer?
