Newsweek Distorts Scripture to Defend Gay Marriage

In what is nothing short of propaganda to promote gay marriage, this week’s issue of Newsweek has an article proclaiming that the Scriptures actually defend same-sex marriage.  Putting forward a religious (Scriptural) defense of gay marriage is a growing tact by gay marriage advocates who no doubt see religious dissenters as the final obstacle to what they want. But what is often forgotten in the debate is nature of the government’s interest in marriage in the first place, a subject recently addressed, among others, in an interview of FACT’s President, David Fowler, by Tennessean editorial writer, Mike Morrow.
